Update a Candidate's Status in the Recruiting Portal

As candidates move through the interview process, the candidate's interview status is automatically updated by the Interview Scheduling application. However, changes that occur to the candidate's Recruiting Portal status as a result of interview activity must be manually updated by the RMS Recruiting Portal user.

If a candidate is interviewed and selected for a position:

  1. Locate the candidate record in the workflow folder associated with the Interview Scheduling application.

  2. Move the candidate from the workflow folder associated with Interview Scheduling to the appropriate workflow folder for candidates who have been offered a position or the next step of the candidate selection process.

If a candidate is interviewed, but not selected for a position:

  1. Locate the candidate record in the workflow folder associated with the Interview Scheduling application.

  2. Move the candidate from the folder associated with Interview Scheduling to the appropriate workflow folder for candidates who are not selected after an interview.

  3. If a candidate is copied to Interview Scheduling via an Interview Message trigger but is not selected for an interview, update the candidate's Recruiting Portal status by moving the candidate to the appropriate workflow folder for candidates who are not selected prior to an interview.
